This program is designed to provide you with the skills necessary to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping functions commonly found in a small to large size business.

Professionals learn through realistic accounting simulations and projects utilizing these computer accounting software or applications: Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, selected Sage modules and SAP Finance. Professionals will be prepared for employment positions such as full-charge bookkeeper, bookkeeper assistant, accounting clerk, automated records clerk, accounts payable clerk, accounts receivable clerk, payroll clerk, auditing clerk, accounting and finance, data entry clerk, administrative assistant, customer service representative, office manager, general office clerk, accounting receptionist, and other related office environment assignments.

Admission Requirements

  • The student has an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent OR is 18 years of age or older on or before the program begins AND can pass a qualifying test (Wonderlic – 15) that has been approved by the Superintendent.
