Diploma in Network (LAN/WAN) Administration
This program prepares you to setup Local Area Networks (LAN) & Wide Area Networks (WAN) using Cisco routers and Catalyst switches in a Linux/Windows environment in a large enterprise. You will gain the knowledge and skills needed to plan, implement, secure, maintain, connectivity technology, computer systems, and computer networking utilizing operating systems, connect computers, transmit data, computer hardware, and troubleshoot converged enterprise networks.
This curriculum was designed to reflect the job skills and responsibilities in job market that are associated with professional-level job roles such as network administrator, LAN or WAN administrator, LAN or WAN technician, network support technician, and systems technical support analyst.

- The student has an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent OR is 18 years of age or older on or before the program begins AND can pass a qualifying test (Wonderlic – 19) that has been approved by the Superintendent.
