- Possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent; OR
- Be 18 years of age or older on or before the program start date and successfully achieve a passing score on the Wonderlic SLE (minimum score of 11), as approved by the Superintendent.
- Successfully passed the NACC Entrance Exam V2.

- Police Clearance of Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector screening, within 45 days of commencement of study.
- Submit a complete Medical Report, within 45 days of commencement of study.
- Successfully complete a recognized course in CPR (Minimum Basic Rescuer C.)
- Successfully complete a recognized course in Standard First Aid.
- Clear Covid-19 test within one week of commencing practicum and/or other expectations in accordance with Public Health requirements
