Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following admission criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (OSSD or
    internationally recognized qualification) or
  • Be at least 18 years of age and be a mature
    student and pass a Superintendent approved
    qualifying test (Wonderlic) and
  • English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or higher (if applicable)
  • Recommended Background and Skills
    (not mandatory)
    • Basic understanding of data handling, cloud tools, or networking
    • Interest in data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, or
      edge computing
    • Logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem solving
      ability

  • Design secure and scalable cloud databases and data pipelines
  • Build ETL/ELT workflows with tools like dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory
  • Apply DataOps and CI/CD principles to automate and monitor data solutions
  • Use Power BI to build interactive dashboards for business insights
  • Prepare and deploy AI/ML models using cloud tools
    (AutoML, Vertex AI, SageMaker)
  • Implement edge computing solutions for real-time data analytics
  • Apply ethical and governance standards in cloud-based data environments
  • Present capstone projects integrating security, cloud analytics, and predictive AI
  • Aligned with certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft SC-900 and Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1
