Linux Basics

Covers Linux basics and is targeted toward entry level professionals, with six to twelve months of Linux and/or Windows experience. CompTIA Linux+ covers common tasks in major distributions of Linux, including the Linux command line, basic maintenance, installing and configuring workstations, and networking. There is no prerequisite for the exam, but candidates could be familiar with the subject matter covered in CompTIA A+ and Network+. Having general administration and troubleshooting skills is an advantage.
